Order confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email within minutes. This email is confirmation that I received your order, not that the order has been accepted. Orders are formally accepted when they enter production, typically within 12 hours.

Prices and currency

All prices are listed in USD unless your browser displays a converted local price. The final charge will be processed in USD and your bank will convert to your local currency at their exchange rate.

When you are charged

Your payment method is charged at the moment of order placement, not at shipping. This is standard for made to order products.

Sales tax and VAT

  • US orders: sales tax may be added at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state laws.
  • Canadian orders: applicable GST/HST/QST is added at checkout.
  • EU and UK orders: VAT is included in product prices for orders under €150 / £135. Larger orders may incur additional VAT at customs.

Order modifications

You can request modifications to your order (size change, address correction, item swap) within 12 hours of placing the order by emailing vexcrafts@outlook.com. After 12 hours, the rug enters production and changes are no longer possible.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund within 12 hours of placement. After 12 hours, the order is in production and the return policy applies once the rug arrives.

Failure to deliver

If your rug cannot be delivered due to events outside my control (carrier delays, customs holds, natural disasters, postal strikes), I will do everything reasonably possible to resolve the issue. Refunds for non delivery due to carrier issues are subject to carrier investigation.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you have a problem with your order, please email me first before contacting your bank or filing a chargeback. The vast majority of issues can be resolved within 24 to 48 hours through direct contact. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with me may delay your refund significantly and, in cases of fraud or abuse, may result in legal action.

Force majeure

Vex Crafts is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, postal disruptions, or supplier failures.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in full effect.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms of sale are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
